From EvoWiki
Just as a note to the other contributors on the wiki, I changed "hoax" to "chimera" not as a matter of mere semantics, but because "Archaeoraptor" was actually comprised of valid fossil material, albeit lacking conspecific status. In other words, "Archaeoraptor" is a fauna, not a species, not unlike Protoavis. Hoax, to me implies that it was a deliberate attempt to bolster theropod origins with fallacious data--it was nothing of the sort.

I've just made you a sysop since you're a regular. It gives you the options of deleting pages and banning users. Let me know if you have any questions/problems. --Steinsky 16:31, 16 Nov 2003 (GMT)
Anatomy format
On pages like Archaeopterygidae you list distinctive anatomical features in a ordered list formatted "a)", "b)" etc. Is this a widely adopted style convention, or arbitrary? I ask, because the wiki software allows automatic numbered lists which may look better an HTML.. --Steinsky 23:59, 5 Apr 2004 (BST)
Arbitrary. --GFA 05:40, 6 Apr 2004 (BST)
