Suggestion

Just a reminder, the wikilink should go at the very top of the edit page, so that it shows up in the upper right hand corner of the wikilinked page, with the exception of species pages with taxon boxes. I'm trying to resolve that problem.--Mr A. 22:25, 21 January 2007 (UTC)

On second thought, though, continue putting the wikilink where you have them with the geological time period pages (Tertiary, Cretaceous, etc) now, as putting the w/link up in the upper right corner, they throw the boxes out of whack.--Mr A. 22:30, 21 January 2007 (UTC)

Vampire

Thanks, but I regularly look at all the recent changes, delete the new vandalism pages, and ban the authors, so you don't need to point them out to me. EvoWiki is not that big yet. --tk (t) 16:35, 4 February 2007 (UTC)

"1 month and 5 days ago"

Why don't you just write the date? That way you won't have to update it ever again. --tk (t) 13:50, 12 February 2007 (UTC)

Smart Reverting

Would you please read EvoWiki:Vandalism#Smart_Reverting? You recently made the mistake everyone makes at first when reverting vandalism - reverting manually. --tk (t) 09:00, 19 February 2007 (UTC)

Spelling

Fang, I'm not sure if English is your first language, but regardless could you please ensure your spelling is correct before saving your changes? Perhaps copy your edits into Word or use the spellchecker of Google Toolbar or Firefox 2.0? It tends to take away from our credibility when we have easily avoidable mistakes in our work.--Doddy 00:43, 19 March 2007 (UTC)

Slight error on your User page

I tried to click on http://imunimaginative.deviantart.com but was foiled by an extra ' at the end of the URL. When looking at your user page I noticed that there is something wrong with the format and think you would have a better understanding of how to fix this error so I'll leave it to you. The same error also occurs at the bottom of the page with the "Quizfarm" link River Bissonnette 15:57, 16 June 2007 (BST)

Its been fixed.--Fang 23 15:21, 16 July 2007 (BST)

Àpokryltaros doppelganger

I've been following the Àpokryltaros (with an Accent Grave over the A) doppelganger and think that it is this IP address (72.9.149.30) by the sandbox entries before the fake Àpokryltaros page was created and the vandalism started. Is there any way to confirm this? River Bissonnette 15:11, 19 June 2007 (BST)

By using this web site What is my IP address? I was able to track down who the host was and sent them an e-mail. The person I contacted is sending the information to his sysadmin and they will be tracking down if the entries from Àpokryltaros are coming from their IP. River Bissonnette 17:38, 19 June 2007 (BST)

Regarding the 4.158.60.205 Vandal

I was reading Apokryltaros' talk page and noticed a familar ip address. This kid vandalized one of my pages on Uncyclopedia [1]. I left a message on the discussion page asking why he did it, and I learned that he is a teenage child who is a creationist. He also left messages on my wikipedia talk page after I told him to stop vandalizing my pages. I don't think the fact I later told him that creationism is bullshit helped too much. This child is absolutly convinced that creationism is the literal truth and that "evolutionists" are hell-bound. The poor kid he's probably a sheltered home-schooled child whose been fed right-wing propaganda since he was a baby. He seems to have only 4.158 ip addresses so a range block should eliminate the problem. I seen that the vandalism was dated in March, has he been on the EvoWiki lately. He's vandalized several of my pages on other wikis. He hasn't touched History of the Earth yet but if he sees a history that lasts longer than 10,000 years, its a sure bet that he will attempt to inject creationist propaganda into it. --Uncle J 06:39, 29 June 2007 (BST)

Conservapedia Logo

Yeah I noticed that I couldn't upload it, whats going on with that anyways?--Uncle J 23:21, 20 October 2007 (BST)

Concerning Tom Kettering

Yes, he did resurrect the Vampires page, so I banned him indefinitely. Also, his name is too much like User:Thomas Kettering, and it made me suspect that he was an impersonating vandal, too.--Mr A. 03:22, 9 May 2008 (BST)

Why are you not a full admin?

I think you should be promoted to full admin. --Elassint, 07 8 2008

I thought that myself recently. So I promoted you. Sorry for the delay. --tk 07:53, 9 July 2008 (BST)

Paleos

I note Hagger recently visited Paleos. You’ve had quite a bit of trouble there. Do you need an extra sysop there? I’m willing. Proxima Centauri 19:47, 25 July 2008 (BST)

Pleased to see you back. I can't do as much work as I would like here for now. My main computer is being repared. I'm using public Internet places at the moment. I'll be back when My computer is healthy. Proxima Centauri 12:40, 18 August 2008 (BST)

This wiki going offline

Have you considered transferring to Wikia or some other server. Liberapedia transferred. Here’s Old Liberapedia and here’s New Liberapedia. Transferring material to the new Wiki was easy. Things are cool now. We just have to put up with religious advertisements.

You don’t have to go with Wikia. ScribbleWiki gives bureaucrats more independence. Advertisements are similar. You can do without ads if you are prepared to pay. There are other Wiki Farms as well. You can take a peek at them and see if you and the others like any. More on Wiki farms. Proxima Centauri 17:15, 22 September 2008 (UTC)

Here's yet another list of Wiki farms. Proxima Centauri 17:18, 25 September 2008 (UTC)

Patrolling

So far I haven't marked anything as patrolled. I can revert obvious vandalism. User who know more palaeontology than I do have to sort out what is accurate. Proxima Centauri 15:05, 28 September 2008 (UTC)

Help with things

I need help, I have images of Phthinosuchus but I don't know how to upload them onto the page. Phthinosuchusisanancestor

Chimpanzee / bonobo relatedness to humans

Hi - just so you're aware, I challenged / removed something you wrote about bonobos and common chimpanzees, for discussion of which see Talk:Common chimpanzee. Bunnyform 19:12, 21 November 2008 (UTC)
