The Thomas More Law Center [1], who calls itself "The Sword and Shield for People of Faith", is "a not-for-profit public interest law firm dedicated to the defense and promotion of the religious freedom of Christians, time-honored family values, and the sanctity of human life". Its connection to anti-evolution and creationism, recently, was through its lead participation in Kitzmiller v. Dover Area School District where it attempted to defend the school district's inclusion of intelligent design in the science courses.

According to [2]: "The Thomas More Law Center was established by Tom Monaghan, prominent business and Christian leader, and Richard Thompson, the former Oakland County, Michigan prosecutor, distinguished for his role in the prosecution of Jack Kevorkian. The Center was founded in 1999, and is headquartered in Ann Arbor, MI."

While the majority of their activity seems to be related to abortion or defending religious displays (nativity scenes, ten commandments, etc.) they have gotten involved in lawsuits involving creationism assisting local authorities such as school boards or parents of students.
