The transitional fossils seen here which appear to show humans evolving from an ape like ancestor are sculpted creations which have been debunked and are not considered actual science.

- If the claim means "sculpted to illustrate the missing fragments" then it is correct. However, if the claim means "sculpted to intentionally resemble organisms that never existed" then it is wrong. In either case, the skulls are not fake, are not a hoax, and if they have been debunked this is the first anyone has heard of it.
- Regardless of what the claimant may think the image appears to show, it is clearly not meant to demonstrate "humans evolving from an ape like ancestor". The first skull is of a modern chimpanzee. Humans did not evolve from chimpanzees. The image is in no way ambiguous and very clearly identifies what it is, and what it depicts. B through M represent fossils which are morphologically intermediate between chimpanzees and humans. Not necessarily direct ancestors to either of them.
- The phrase "ape-like ancestor" is misleading. Such an ancestor would be an ape, as are humans.
