Ham's Lie about Dinosaur Diet
Page 47 asks, “What did dinosaurs eat, and how did they behave?” Answer: Most dinosaurs were plant-eaters. Others ate meat. The rest ate both. It all depends on the fossil clues left behind by the dinosaurs based on their behavior. However, Ham, the delusional liar thinks all dinosaurs were vegetarians before the alleged Fall of Man and page 48 demonstrates that Ham obviously knows nothing about animal dentistry by showing a head and a skull of a camel. Ham would often invoke certain animals such as the panda and the camel to try to feebly attempt to prove that just because an animal has sharp teeth, doesn't mean it's a meat eater. It's the same way as if to say that just because an animal has blunt teeth doesn't mean it's a plant eater (i.e. Rats, mice, even humans.). Ham neglects the fact that when you look closely at the teeth of a camel, you notice that the teeth is smooth, thin, and blunt. The panda's teeth is also smooth, thin, and blunt too. Both also have molars for chewing plants. Pandas, although they are vegetarians do occasionally eat meat. Hippos do the same thing as well. So they are not necessary strict vegetarians. Besides, like I said in so many essays before, If the animals is given sharp teeth, strong legs, eyes that see forward, acute sense of smell, sight, and hearing and a stomach for meat, yet expect them to eat only plants, then what good is it? It will be no good if that's the case. It will be a total, worthless, waste of features. It is not at all considered “very good” or "perfect" if an animal is given the traits of a meat eater and yet it's put on a very strict diet of plants that has tough cellulose fibers in them that make it so hard and difficult for an animals to digest them without having all of what it takes to be a plant-eater (i.e. Huge, complex guts, bacteria for fermenting plants, chewing molars, etc. Not all of them have teeth though. Yet those that don't have teeth can still grind up food with the help of stomach stones and/or grit to do all the grinding for them.). It would prove extremely difficult for meat-eating animals to digest plants. It also could never be a perfect world like what the YECs picture in their narrow-minded heads and falsely called true. Plants will not survive the assault of the sickly sweet animals who will kill them and leave out no chances of them to grow and flourish. Next thing they knew, they will be eating rocks and die of indigestion, the soil gets blown or washed away, the whole world will be a desert, if all of it was the case. Everyone, even the wasted toothed sea reptiles would die of starvation and God will be to blame for setting up His whole creation for the fall. What a mean, cruel God YECs like Ham worships! Even though, you think this is bad and it is, let me tell you, Ham's views on death and suffering is even worse!
Senseless Emotionalism
Page 49 gives out no facts, just senseless emotionalism of how bad the world is and how creation is “groaning” and how we must look at the world through what I would rather called “Bible Blinkers.” Actually it was John Steer who have invented the concept here on this No Answers in Genesis page. Ham says that some people cannot accept this made up mythical concept of a “perfect harmonious description of the world” according to him because of the food chain they observe today. No Ham. The real reason why is because your definition of a perfect harmonious description of the world is totally 100% flawed as I described above. Ham uses Adam and Eve as a scapegoat and frames them on everything that's wrong on earth concerning creation, while ignoring the concept of individual responsibility and shows an example of how in Romans 8:22 do we read about the so-called perfect creation as “groaning up to the present time.” Heck, the only thing that's really groaning up to the present time around here is people like us who is appalled by Ham's stupid lies, his comical, cry-baby circus campaigns, and his warped version of theology.
Creation or Creature
Romans 8:22 could possibly describe the human race who belongs to God that the word “creation” or the “creature “ is referring to who is groaning up to the present time under the weight of the laws of sin and waiting in anticipation for Christ's second coming to free them from such a bondage just like Moses has done with the Israelites when he rescues them from 400 years of bondage in Egypt. Ham's Bibliolatry
Ham then says that a true Christian world-view commences with in big capital letters again, ”revelation,” not fallible human opinions (which is what creationism is entirely made up of.). In this quote Ham tries to equate The Edenic Cult with revelation just by encouraging the reader to put on “Bible Blinkers,” not glasses and look at the world through the Bible's -- no, paper idol's eyes. See how Ham is treating the Bible as an idol? Ham is regarding the Bible as an idol god itself who is right on everything that isn't. If the reader does put on the bible blinkers, he won't be curtailed to the fact that young earthism is nothing more than exactly what Ham falsely branded evolution as - a fallible human opinion.
No Honest Answer
At the bottom of page 49, there is a question that's asked, “What about characteristics of animals today that seemed to be suited for hunting and killing?” Answer: This is the question the YECs can't honestly answer. Instead they resort to stupid lies and hypocrisy. This is what I mean when they say that evolution is a lie and yet turned around and promote evolution of their own, Punctuated Equilibrium style. Henry Morris, who founded this stupid modern YEC movement states that either this is part of the original creation or have developed over a period of time over selection or mutations following the Curse; it must await research. The problem with this quote is that Morris and all others like him does absolutely NO research at all. Note the hypocrisy in the quote about the concept of life changing over time, Morris, the hypocrite and others like him are hypocritically saying that it's all a lie. Ham, the hypocrite also believe in this hypocrisy; claiming, on page 50, that maybe some animals began eating other animals after the fall and quoted a bible verse in Genesis 6:12 that actually when translated right refers to the entire human race, not animals. Then Ham quotes Genesis 9:2 saying that after the flood, God gives the animals a natural fear of man. Thankfully, dinosaurs were never affected by it.
Fossil Fallacy
Page 51, asks this meaningless question, “Why do we find dinosaur fossils?” Ham falsely answers that this is the result of Noah's flood, while there is no trace of valid evidence for it. Ham invokes the Flood to try to feebly explain fossils, while in fact the fossils were all the result of events that has nothing to do with Noah's Flood. Ham makes a strawman claim that says evolutionists once thought that fossils formed over a slow period of time over millions of years only for recently to find that the fossils were form at a rapid burial pace. This is a fabricated falsehood that shows how little Ham knows about fossils and fossilization and how they work -- not at all. A Just So Story
When God saw how bad mankind were, He decides to flood the world. God commands Noah to build the ark and take up with him 2 (seven in some) of every kind of animal. Ham claims Noah took up dinosaurs in the ark too, other than birds. However, there are major problems with this. In an attempt to try to fit 90 million+ animals species in the 450x75x45 ark, Ham uses his imagination and pretends the dinosaurs to be on the average as sheep size. However, dinosaurs don't stay that small for long. They grow up real fast and in some cases, grow from hatchling to an adult within a matter of months. Even if all of the dinosaurs, on the average, were the size of sheep, there is still no way can they all fit into the ark. Not with 600+ kinds and still growing. Page 52 tells of the sheep size myth as well as the myth about young baby dinosaurs being taken on board. Noah was supposed to take up animals, a male and his mate, into the ark that are all sexually mature, not immature, inexperience babies that won't make it after they left the ark after the flood.
Page 53 shows a Stegosaurus hatching coming out of it's egg with a strawman outdated classification shown right above it.
Ham's Lie About Stegosaurus
Pages 54-56 tells of the strawman, distorted description and discovery of Stegosaurus, the largest plated dinosaur and the most famous Stegosaur of the Jurassic Period, who lived 150 million years ago during that period in what is now North America. On page 56, Ham brings on the myth about baby dinosaurs like Stegosaurus being taken to the ark, assuming that “teenage” dinosaurs growing up to about the size of a pony will within many years grow up into the gigantic adults we're most familiar with after they left the ark after the flood and reproduce, while ignorant of the fact that dinosaurs like stegosaurus can grow up real, real fast from hatchling into adult in a matter of months, a few years or a decade depending upon species.
Ham Teaching Evolution!
Page 57 proves that Ham is a first class hypocrite, just like all the others like him, who assumes that Noah could only take up basic kinds of dinosaurs as well as basic kinds of all other animals into the ark to reproduce into great number species of animals we see today through either natural or artificial selection. All on this page, Ham is advocating the very same thing he arrogantly declares it a lie and a falsehood....evolution. The word “evolution” which means “unfolding” is define according to the PBS Evolution series..
“Biological evolution refers to the cumulative changes that occur in a population over time. These changes are produced at the genetic level as organisms' genes mutate and/or recombine in different ways during reproduction and are passed on to future generations. Sometimes, individuals inherit new characteristics that give them a survival and reproductive advantage in their local environments; these characteristics tend to increase in frequency in the population, while those that are disadvantageous decrease in frequency. This process of differential survival and reproduction is known as natural selection. Non-genetic changes that occur during an organism's life span, such as increases in muscle mass due to exercise and diet, cannot be passed on to the next generation and are not examples of evolution.”
That is what Ham and other YECs surprisingly is advocating when they says that Noah took only basic kinds of animals to reproduce into many different kinds of animals we see today. Some people may not agree with Darwin's views of evolution, but it seems they are most certainly agreeing with Ham and Morris' views of evolution, Punctuated Equilibrium style. However, Ham claims that this kind of speciation (to him), based on strictly the created forms already known present and thus limited, is in large capital letters “not” evolution. He is lying. Speciation, according to the definition in The American Heritage Dictionary of the English Language, is define as,
"The evolutionary formation of new biological species, usually by the division of a single species into two or more genetically distinct ones."
Thus, speciation is evolution. And Ham knows it. He just don't want to admit it to his followers or else he will lose them and their money he get from them and wastes away at building a 'museum' in Petersburg, Kentucky to science and reality, that's all. Ham gives out his own strawman version of evolution and claims that information never (in large capital letters) arises by chance, which evolution actually speaks nothing of and claims it has not been observed and thus is impossible to happen, which is a blatant lie as shown here. Ham Lies About Kinds
Page 58 tells more of Ham's falsehoods, claiming that there are 50 kinds of dinosaur groups or kinds ever known, while in fact there is actually much more than that. There are actually much more than 50 different kinds of dinosaurs and still growing due to people making much more dinosaur discoveries than ever before. Ham, like all other YECs just made that one up along with the baby dinosaur myth as an attempt to try to fit all 90 million+ animal species on board in the ark. All of what is shown on page 58 is refuted concerning the number of animals and the ark capacity being fewer than 75,000 animals as Morris and John Whitcomb claim could fit on “only one floor of the ark. Even with 75,000 animals there is no way can they be fitted in the ark, not even on one floor. Even if they did fit into the ark, there will be much more major problems with feeding, care, maintenance, exercise, and ventilation. The Fictional Flood Date
Another falsehood Ham makes up is the flood allegedly taking place around 4,500 years ago at the same time as the building of the Pyramids in Egypt as well as the notion that there were billions of dead things laid down by water all over the earth, which we find none of. None of the layers of rock were made up by the floodwaters of Noah's flood. In fact, they were made up by local flooding, volcanic eruptions, sandstorms, droughts, and other non-Noah's Flood related events. Each layer represents a period of time. The younger layers at the top represent recent years, the older layers at the bottom represent the most ancient of years. This have nothing to do with the Flood.
Ice Age Blunder
Ham also claims there was an Ice Age that occurred after the Flood. That is false too. As I mentioned before there are about 4, not 1, but 4 incidents of an Ice Age to have occurred all throughout earth's history including the most famous one occurring tens of thousands of years ago in recent years as shown here.
Ignorance of Rigor Mortis
Another myth shown on the page is the myth about the fossils found contorted and twisted as the result of animals being rapidly buried the the flood. With this claim, Ham and other YECs, like this guy, deliberately ignores the concept of rigor mortis (Click here to read what rigor mortis is.). You don't need a flood, not even Noah's flood to have an animal, when it dies, to make like rigor mortis. There are many instances of sightings of animals that have died in the desert, on a bare rock, anywhere that don't have any moisture or water with their bodies curled up, twisted, and contorted and made like rigor mortis. When an animal dies, the cartilages and the tissues shrivel up and decompose around the neck the spine and the tail joints causing the body to curl up like this.
