The God Theory is a popular book written by astrophysicist Bernard Haisch that attempts to provide scientific proof for the existence of God and reconcile science and religion . It embraces the philosophical idea known as the Anthropic principle - or the idea that the universe's suitability for life is not the result of chance but is a logical development, however it also embraces the idea of Theistic evolution or the idea that evolution is the pen God used when He/She/It wrote the 'Book of Life'.
