The Fall

"The Fall" is a euphemism describing the moment Adam and Eve (along with the rest of Humanity and the World) entered into a state of sin by eating of the Forbidden Fruit, and thus, disobeying God. This resulted in The Curse, which creationists, YECs in particular, use as a catch-all scapegoat (along with Adam and Eve, by default) to explain away many, if not all, unsavory aspects of the natural world, i.e., predation, disease, toxins, parasites, death, the accumulation of Entropy in the Universe, etc.
