Moved from "Talk:Neanderthal was based on a disfigured human"

Do we need this page separately? It really does nothing more than duplicate the two other pages I linked in the responses. Incidentally, I do consider them better suited to being in the responses than merely "related claims". --Suttkus 17:13, 31 May 2006 (BST)

Moved from "Talk:Neanderthal Man, found in France over 50 years ago, is an old man who suffered from arthritis"

Isn't the title of this page a bit much? I'd drop the "found in France..." part, it's not relevant to refuting the accusation. --Suttkus 17:14, 31 May 2006 (BST)

Perhaps we could fuse the various disease-ridden Neanderthal Men claims together as one? They all sound alike.--Mr A. 19:55, 31 May 2006 (BST)
The "France" part suggests that there was only one Neanderthal, which was found in France over 50 years ago... But I agree, they should be fused. Maybe it should be called Neanderthals were just humans with their bones disfigured from illnesses? That sums it up pretty much. --tk (t) 08:56, 2 June 2006 (BST)

Moved from "Talk:Neanderthals were humans with rickets"

Does anyone have a clue why the one related claim is coming in bolded instead of as a link? I can't seem to fix it. --Suttkus 17:19, 31 May 2006 (BST)

And a new talk line

It's a self-link; those are bold. I'll remove it. --tk (t) 18:48, 7 June 2006 (BST)

I'll keep the redirects from the old pages to this one for a while. Maybe I missed something when I merged the articles. --tk (t) 18:57, 7 June 2006 (BST)

Fallacies

Someone put this in the Fallacies part, where it does not belong: "about the eye ridges: we humans have eye ridges that grow constantly. So if a person with arthitis dies he might be pretty old right. and i personaly believe that we humans lived for more then 150 years back 4 thousand years ago. maybe even longer. About the teeth. some people have big teeth some have smaler. about the brain size you said it was smaller but in fact there brain size is bigger then ours."

This is neither here nor there. Your personal belief is irrelevant; there is enough evidence to the contrary. But I think you are right about the bigger brain. --tk (t) 16:25, 17 August 2006 (BST)
