Make Better Arguments By Presenting Both Sides

Don't you think that this site would be far better if you could present both sides in a more unbiased way instead of forcing evolution on everyone. In that way, we could let the facts speak for themselves and make our own decisions.

I rather thought this site did "present both sides in a[n] ... unbiased way". It's not our fault that Creationism can only look good when it's presented with an explicitly pro-Creationism bias!

There's a difference between "forcing evolution on everyone" and presenting the evidence for mainstream science and against creationism. People may believe or conclude whatever they wish. This site, however, is meant to correct common creationist mistakes and present evidence that some creationists claim does not exist. If you truly feel that both approaches should always be presented together, btw, you might want to tell that to CreationWiki.TheIncredibleEdibleOompaLoompa 06:37, 3 Oct 2005 (BST)

Page protection

Do we really want the main page protected? --GFA 20:15, 2 Feb 2004 (GMT)

It is the most frequently and easily vandalized page in the wiki. It just saves us all a significant amount of trouble. JGK (5:50pm GMT -5, 2/2/04)

Sociobiology

Does anyone agree that sociobiology is a significant enough topic to have a link in the directory, and more importantly does anyone have any idea where it should go in the directory? It doesn't seem to fit perfectly under any of the headings, and I'm sure someone would be upset if we tried wedging it into evo-psych or ToE... --Steinsky 23:54, 29 Mar 2004 (BST)

Evo-psych is just "sociobiology for people." If anything, then, evo-psych should go under it. --GFA 07:23, 30 Mar 2004 (BST)

Mitochondrial genetics

I'm have been working on Wikipedia for some time, but had never heard of this EvoWiki. I pasted one of my main contributions to Wikipedia (Mitochondrial genetics) into EvoWiki, but I'm not sure if there is a difference in desired content, formatting, etc. Someone please look over the article and email me (mendoek@gmail.com) to le me know if this is what's desired. Also- has anyone ever suggested having user names for all Wiki's be universal? I'm tired of having to sign up for different Wiki's (Wikipedia, EvoWiki, WikiBook, etc). Thanks a lot! Related Changes?

Not sure where to put this, but the toolbox in the sidebar lists "Related changes." Shouldn't this say "Recent changes?"

Recent changes is above that. Related changes is something I've never used to any significant degree, so I'll just let Wikipedia explain it, instead. [1] TheIncredibleEdibleOompaLoompa 17:44, 27 Jul 2005 (BST)
