Talk:List of creationist organizations
From EvoWiki
In order to maintain consistency, both in the entries for these organizations and in the alternative indexing techniques to find them ("List of ...", Category:xxx) the following procedure is recommended for adding new entities to the list:
- Create a page for the entity (organisation or website or ??), under its full name (accurately duplicating what they call themselves) and at least enter a stub entry, but preferably a full entry in a similar format to existing entries (show a "template" here). Add [[Category:Creationist organisations]] or [[Category:Creationist websites]] at the end of the entry
- Create any redirection entries for abbreviations or synonyms for this organization
- Add the entity here following the existing table format, filling in all the fields you know
Note: Please note the spelling difference in category and list which is a historical difference that is currently being preserved.
Does this belong here?
Someone put this link in places where it does not belong: [1] But maybe it belongs here. --tk (t) 13:02, 10 April 2006 (BST)
- I don't recall the other places it might be but, IMHO, any organization or website expressing creationist or anti-evolution POV could go on this page even if it is not worth having a page about the organization/site itself. Part of why I put in the column of URL to the website on this page is so that minimal information is available here. I've been accumulating a more complete list so it's possible with a larger list this page format could be balky and maybe some other changes would be needed, but it seems ok now. --Dmill96 16:38, 10 April 2006 (BST)
