Talk:Evolution doesn't explain language ability

I removed "#The aquatic ape theory does address the evolution of language ability - when in water, a sound works better than the traditional ape 'angry face', because the face is made by holding the mouth open. This would mean that water would get in to the mouth, making breathing harder. In a dominance battle, the male making the sound would win over the male making the face. The ability of that male to make the sound would them be more likely to be genetically passed on."

Aquatic Ape is not mainstream, and if non-mainstream theories about language evolution are to be admitted then there are at least half a dozen others that should be here too.
