Talk:Evolution doesn't explain art

Compare these two responses:
- If we look at art as something that perhaps gave our ancestors as a species or individual some form of selective advantage, then evolution might explain it.
- In many ways, art is the ability to mimic - movement, sounds, sights. Mimicry is something that can easily be seen as something that would generate an advantage for any species.
Unless I'm missing something, the second response is just a repeat of the first. However, the first response lacks force. I'm trimming it out.
