Removed this because it is clearly wrong: because there are two loci for the gene on each chromosome A chromosome never has two loci for the same gene, unless a translocation has occured, in which case it is an abnormal chromosome anywhay, leading to some sort of partial trisomy.Wobble 21:56, 26 Aug 2005 (BST)
