Social Darwinism refers to the theory in political philosophy that competition between individuals and or groups is the driving force of Social evolution in human societies. Social Darwinism has influenced the ideology of Fascist movements and racist ideologies such as Nazism. Some creationists have (incorrectly) claimed that evolutionary biology leads to social Darwinism.
