Sauria

Sauria is the crown clade of Diapsida and includes the common ancestor of birds, crocodiles, squamates, and Sphenodon, and all their descendents.

Sauria phylogeny is a complicated matter, with the two unambigous members (Archosauromorpha and Lepidosauromorpha) often joined by Ichthyosauria, Sauropterygia and occasionally Anapsida.
