PALAEOS

PALAEOS: The Trace of Life on Earth [1] is an excellent website covering the entire history of the earth, covering both earth sciences (geochronology [2], the earth [3] (atmosphere, geosphere, geography and oceanography) and geology) and biology (evolution [4], palaeontology [5], ecology [6] and systematics [7]). It contains a section of evolution that presents all sides, including creationism, but the general content of the site is scientific so it fundamentally supports evolution. The section of geological time, starting with [8] for a more detailed stratigraphy than the shorter version here at EvoWiki Geological Timescale.

Unfortunately, due to other pressing duties for its creators, the site went offline in August of 2006. However, as of September 2006, PALAEOS has been revived as a wiki, and its staff are in the process of wikifying all of its articles.
