Mesethmoid
From EvoWiki
The mesethmoid is an unpaired cartilagenous bone, formed by the fusion of thin plates of ethmoid bone above the nasals. In birds, it permits dorsal flexion of the upper jaw. This bone has also been shown to contain above average levels of magnetite, especially in migratory animals, indicating it's involved in sensation of magnetic fields.
