Manus

The manus the part of the body to which the distal portion of the forelimb attaches. It is called the hand in primates, the front hoof in terrestrial Ungulates, the front paw in many Carnivores, front flipper in marine mammals. The manus also makes up the wing in birds, bats and pterosaurs.
