Welcome! The Evolution Education Wiki, popularly known as EvoWiki, is a website about evolution and, in turn, objections to it by those espousing various forms of creationism. Our editorial philosophy extends no further than being pro-science - or, more accurately, supportive of examining the evidence, unbiased by doctrine or faith. The EvoWiki's 3,081 pages were collaboratively written by the people who visit the site; to find out how this works and how you can get involved, visit our community portal.

Biological Evolution

The EvoWiki features a great deal of material on the topic of evolution, and of evidence for evolution from many scientific fields, including:

Other areas of science like astronomy, physics and geology, also provide evidence for our scientific understanding of the universe and its past.

Creationism

For over one-hundred and fifty years, the theory of evolution has been continuously (and unsuccessfully) challenged by various versions of creationism. The EvoWiki extensively lists and replies to over 600 creationist claims including (pseudo)scientific, philosophical and theological objections.

Philosophy

As the EvoWiki is fully supportive of science, an outline of the philosophy of science and the scientific method is featured.

The EvoWiki also has a compendium of logical fallacies. Many of these fallacies are listed alongside examples of their use in creationist literature, or other pseudosciences.
