Konstantine Mikhailov, Russian paleontologist who has carried out the most extensive work on the eggshell microstructure of theropods and archaic birds to date (Mikhailov 1992). Mikhailov also described the astounding clutch of fossilized enantiornithine and ornithurine eggs recovered from the Upper Cretaceous Barun Goyot Formation of the Mongolian Gobi.
