As posted on the Intelligent Design Network Kansas Science Standards website and the Panda's Thumb blogposts "Kansas Evolution Hearings," "ID advocates set up Kangaroo Court in Kansas," "Nature: Biologists snub 'kangaroo court' for Darwin," and "Send in the clowns," the Intelligent Design Network and the conservatives on the Kansas State Board of Education have set up a Kangaroo Court for evolution, to begin May 5.

Hypothetically, each side is supposed to invite witnesses to testify for intelligent design or evolution. The taxpayers of Kansas are paying travel expenses. Biologists have refused to participate en masse, but the Intelligent Design Network has invited a collection of 22 nonscientists, scientists with no professional experience with evolution, as well as downright frauds to testify for the intelligent design side.
