Kalman Lambrecht

Kalman Lambrecht, a founding father of paleornithology and one of the more influential ornithologists of the 20th Century. Lambrecht authored an extensive review of the fossil record of birds in 1933, in which he described the first Cretaceous gaviiform, Neogaeornis wetzeli.
