Intelligent Design and Evolution Awareness Center
From EvoWiki
Intelligent Design and Evolution Awareness Center [1] (IDEA) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that was created in 2001 as a replacement for a club at University of California, San Diego, of the same name. Its goal is provide intelligent design information, hold conferences and to organize IDEA clubs at universities. The IDEA Center has 3 tiers of leadership--an Administration Team (i.e. Staff), a Board of Directors, and an Advisory Board. The Center establishes a non-religious attitude but in fact encourages the notion that Christian faith is highly compatible with ID [2].
At the moment the Center is particularly enthusiastic about promoting the book Traipsing Into Evolution: Intelligent Design and the Kitzmiller V. Dover Decision, by David K. Dewolf, John G. West, Casey Luskin, Jonathan Witt, (published by Discovery Institute) as well as criticizing Kitzmiller v. Dover Area School District in articles [3] on their website.
