Homosexuality is considered acceptable and even desirable by most evolutionists, who point out that homosexuality is common in many species.

  1. Even if this was true, it would have nothing to say about whether evolution is true or false. Something can be true and still lead to undesirable consequences.
  2. Some evolutionists do desire equality for homosexuals, but this is not a universally held idea, nor does it stem from their opinion about evolution. As evolution is a scientific description of natural events, it contains no moral idealogies and therefore cannot imply an action is moral or immoral.
  3. This is an ad hominem argument equivalent to similar arguments that all scientists are atheists, materialists, philosophical naturalists, and/or evil devil-worshipers. Like those other arguments it is neither relevant nor true.
  4. Sexual strategies vary highly among species. Biologists, such as zoologists and ethologists, as well as the lay-evolutionists merely note the findings. These facts may be used by some people to inform social morals, but that does not change the facts.
  5. The unspoken statement which is the real point is: "If Leviticus is wrong, I don't want to be right."
  6. In some observed cases, homosexuality is actually detrimental to an individual organism's Darwinian fitness, as it basically precludes reproduction. For example, in some species of garter snakes, a few males are capable of secreting female pheromones which induce other males to mate with it, rather than nearby females. Thus, these males are able to waste their rivals' chances at mating, and increase their own reproductive chances. One could use this to disapprove of homosexuality.
  7. This claim contradicts two other creationist claims Hitler based his views on Darwinism and Evolution is racist because both Hitler’s Nazi party and many contemporary racist organizations such as the KKK have persecuted (and have advocated the persecution of) homosexuals.
