Responses

  1. This is a common trick used by pseudoscientists. Astrologers, parapsychologists and many other brands of pseudoscience have been claiming for decades that their recognition as a science is just around the corner.
  2. This is like saying "While the evidence doesn't support my belief now, it will when more is collected." The problem with this train of logic is that evidence that has not been discovered yet is still not evidence.
  3. Note that this is an attempt to "get people on the bandwagon" and be "in with the in crowd." It's pure psychological manipulation.
  4. Even though this has been said since 1840, there has been no sign in the scientific community nor mention in any scientific journal that evolution will be abandoned anytime soon.
  5. This argument has taken on the nature of a meme - it is often said, often repeated, but no evidence has been presented to confirm this. Indeed, such an occurrence would be newsworthy, yet no news (or evidence) has been forthcoming for the past 150+ years.
