Responses

  1. On the contrary, Evolution can indeed explain photosynthesis. Given as how all photosynthetic autotroph prokaryotes (including both cyanobacteria and halobacteria archaeans) live in environments that are directly or indirectly exposed to sunlight, scientists suspect that the photosynthetic pigments arose from pigments that were produced to protect the DNA and RNA of ancestral prokaryotes from the harmful effects of light and ultraviolet radiation. The chemical chain reactions formed from these pigments being affected by light and ultraviolet radiation are believed to be the precursors to actual photosynthesis.
