Embolotherium

Embolotherium ("battering-ram beast") is the name given to a series of skulls of a Mongolian brontothere of the late Eocene. The skulls have a flattened "ski-slope" appearance, with a huge, flattened "scooper" horn sweeping out in front. Because the center is hollow, the horn was too fragile to be used in intraspecific conflict. Instead, the horn was suspected of being used as an resonator for calling.
