Using the whole world and its natural activities as scapegoats for Adam's sin has got to be the most idiotic, dangerous thing you ever do. It is as if a child breaks his mother's favorite vase and his mother comes in and demands him to explain why did he broke the vase to her and the child would say, "Adam and Eve made me do it by biting the apple!" or "Evolution made me do it!" Both as bad of a cop out excuse as, "The Devil made me do it!" Any mother of such child would see through this ruse would give that child a spanking and sent him up to his room or in the time out corner. Morris, on page 28 in the subtitle Form “Very Good” to “Violence”, now gives out loads of crappy nonsense in an effort to explain how did some animals obtain the characteristics of a meat-eater that allows them to prey on other animals, including his trick question of "...but why not animal violence as well? After all the Earth is filled with violent activity!" (Answer: All animals are morally innocent and cannot think, reason, and have a conscience like humans do. Animals can't sin. Only humans do and have been known throughout history to behave far much worse than all forms of animals put together. Thus, because of this, God had no choice but to punish the human race with the great flood because only the humans themselves have filled the world with violence, not the animal kingdom.) when he talks about God's plans to destroy the Earth because of it being "filled with violence" as told in Genesis 6:13, God originally created animals with offensive and defensive features they will use in the fall, loosening some genetic controls that would allow animals to alter and adapt to new situations, including body style changes, Satan put those features there to help in rebellion against God, and God performing genetic engineering at this point of the fall.
All of this above implies that God is mean, cruel, weak, and wasteful; setting up all of His creation for the fall. He intentionally handles His creation carelessly like a irresponsible child who destroys every brand new furniture around the house, including the things either he himself made and/or what his parents made. What Morris is clearly referring to is a mean, cruel, irresponsible, merciless god who creates, ruins, and destroys everything in little time and laughs about it all the way home. Fortunately, unlike Morris' faux-god, the real true God is not such a deity.
God is never a wasteful deity. He neither wastes His creative resources nor did He set His creation up for the fall. What He did do is plant truthful evidence that points to a world that's billions of years old. He also have truthfully planted evidence of a lost world where dinosaurs once ruled the world in a time long before the dawn of man. No man ever kept them as pets, nor did he hunted them for sport and food. Dinosaurs never tasted human flesh, modern animal flesh, and all other flesh of animals from the early Cenozoic Era, Ice age, and pre-Mesozoic times. With this fact proven so thanks to scientific evidence we can used the Bible and interpret it to fit in with the scientific evidence pointing to an old earth billions of years old, instead of forcing the scientific evidence to fit in with certain strict bible reading and interpretation like what YECs like Morris is doing.
Next, Morris goes on and explains, in Chapter 7 entitled How Did Dinosaurs Go Extinct? on page 29, what he thinks happened that caused the dinosaurs to become extinct. Like all YECs, Morris concludes that it was really Noah's Flood that killed the dinosaurs, while the scientific evidence truthfully denies such a event. Morris, however, claims that The Great Worldwide Flood covered the entire planet and destroyed most of the dinosaurs that lie buried in sedimentary rocks that were all laid down by the muddy waters of the Flood. He makes this claim while ignoring the evidence that debunks the YE Noah's Flood fallacy, including, believe it or not, the Bible! You hear me, the Bible! God Holy Word! Don't believe me? Then read Edward Babinski's article and he'll prove it to you.
Now we get to page 30, where Chapter 8 is entitled, Were Dinosaurs on Noah's Ark? Answer: depends on if one's talking about avian dinosaurs (birds) or non-avian dinosaurs. If this question refers to non-avian dinosaurs such as T.rex and Apatosaurus, then the answer is no. But, if the question refers to only avian dinosaurs such as robins and ducks, then the answer is yes. In this chapter, Morris gives out more nonsense about dinosaurs being in the ark (other than birds) by claiming that since Noah was to take up on board two of every kind of animals that moves and breathes air on land, he must have taken dinosaurs aboard as well. Noah only took up birds into the ark, otherwise he never took dinosaurs on board because dinosaurs were long dead by the time Noah, Adam and the rest of mankind came along.
Morris then, on page 31, claims that there were only 50 different kinds of dinosaurs or less, which is a blatant lie. With that many, Noah should have no trouble taking them up on board along with only the basic types of animals...or so Morris assumes, while unwittingly setting grounds for the teaching of evolution, the very same thing Morris and other YECs highly regard as a lie. How is he teaching evolution unwittingly? Answer: Morris thinks they "were all very similar and the differences may have been just a variation among individuals or local adaptations, much like the various breeds of cattle or dogs we see today." In other words, Noah took up only young, basic animals that will developed into huge varieties of animals we see today just like the original basic animals have done since Creation. Original basics developing into complex variety forms? Sounds like Morris is taking about evolution here, Poke'mon and Punctuated Equilibrium style.
He doesn't believe that there were 600 different kinds of dinosaurs because, to him, most of them are based on the discovery of only pieces of bone, instead of whole skeletons, which is bullfeces. Scientists were able to find much more than just pieces of bone. They also found scores of partially complete to fully complete skeletons of dinosaurs along with eggs, dung, skin and feather imprints, etc. More than enough for scientists to identify possible more than 600 different kinds of dinosaurs and that number is still growing as more and more discoveries are being made once every 6 weeks on average.
On page 32, in the subtitle, Where the Largest Dinosaurs on Board?, Morris brings on the falsehood about Noah taking baby dinosaurs aboard while disregarding the commands from God to only take up pairs of fully grown animals, "a male and his mate." Thus, Noah is to take up only full grown sexually mature animals into the ark, not inexperience babies that do not have all of what it takes to survive the Flood's aftermath. Also in this falsehood, Morris over-exaggerates both the life and growth spans of a dinosaur and assumes that since the Bible says that man before the flood once lived almost a thousand years, therefore if dinosaurs lived a thousand years and grow larger each year of their lives, they would become quite large. Here, Morris is implying that since dinosaurs were reptiles, then like reptiles, dinosaurs must have grown very slowly and continue to grow all throughout their lives and live for almost a thousand years, which the actual growth rings found in the bony structures of dinosaurs clearly debunks hands down.
Dinosaurs, according to recent scientific studies, is now known to grow up very fast within a matter of 10-15 years or less depending on species (with one exception.). Plus, dinosaurs are known to live far less than a thousand years. For one example, recent studies on the life span of a T.rex indicated that the average life span of a T.rex is about 30 years. Apatosaurus, on the other hand, on the average, has a life span to perhaps about 100 years, while much smaller dinosaurs probably have a much less of a life span than T.rex's in some cases.
Morris, like all YECs, deliberately made up this just-so story about basic animals and 50 dinosaurs the size of hippos, ponies, and sheep taken up on board the ark in a feeble attempt to try to fit all 9 million+ animal species into a 450x75x45 box like vessel. Still, what Morris claims is all crap. At God's command, Noah was supposed to take up two of all kinds of full grown, sexually mature animals most familiar to man into the ark, not just the basics. Even if Noah still is able to take up only basics, including 50 dinosaurs, there would still be major problems pertaining to animal care, health, food, space, and exercise as discussed here.
Next, Morris, on page 32-34 brings on the falsehood about dinosaurs dying off a short while later after the Flood ended, which doesn't make sense. If God wanted to salvage every extinct animal and yet allowed them to all die off due to post-flood conditions that prove fatal to them, then what's the point of ever rescuing them from the flood anyway?
Above all, it sounds like what Morris is advocating here is a mean cruel vicious god who never wishes to let his creation live in the first place, even after the Flood. If there ever was a global flood, no one, plant, animal, and human, will ever survive. There would have been no ice age, no sea life, no fossils or countless traces of "billions of dead things laid down by water all over the earth" which people, if they ever survived, would find an easy time finding and digging up, instead of what we actually see in the fossil record, which is far less than billions, no plants, sea life, no insects, nothing!
On page 33, The question in the subtitle is asked, What does the Bible Say? Answer: Nothing! plain and simple. Everything about what Morris gives out in this paragraph when it comes to alleged Post-flood conditions including less abundant food, Ice Age (which YECs believe to have occurred. But, if there ever was such a global flood as told by the Young earthers, the Ice Age would have never occurred. Reference here.), and man killing them, is all nothing but made up stories falsely told as biblical truth.
Morris even lies about alleged rock carvings made by ancient people in many countries throughout the world including South America and China, he claims to be of dinosaurs while they are nothing more than elaborate hoaxes, images of mythical creatures such as the Chinese dragon, and forgeries made recently by practical jokers, YECs themselves, and black market salesmen. Even if they were of dinosaurs, this still do not explain how come we are finding no traces of dinosaurs, pre and post Mesozoic animals, today's animals, and humans in and around each other in the fossil record.
Next, chapter 9 on pages 34-35 is entitled, What Do The Dinosaur Fossils Teach Us About the Flood? (Answer: Zilch!), where Morris gives out claims of jumbled up mixtures of fossils buried in watery sediments and mass graveyards of dinosaur fossils being evidence of Noah's flood while in fact, the mass graveyards actually debunks it and the fossils are buried in areas after the bodies get washed down the river after the dinosaurs died while attempting to cross the river at its flood stage. A scenario quite similar to what we see in Africa during the annual migrations of the wildebeest. Note also, on page 34, a questions is asked, Where are dinosaur fossils found? Answer: worldwide on every continent. Still, the fossil sites throughout the world all do not have the words 'Noah's Flood' written all over them
We now get to chapter 10 which asks, Why Doesn't The Bible Mentioned Dinosaurs? Answer: Believe it or not, it does. For example, in 1 Kings 17:1-5, during the early days of a long drought God send to the people because they were worshiping Baal, who was believed to have control rain, while staying at a ravine while hiding from the wicked Queen Jezebel, Elijah during the morning and evening hours, saw dinosaurs (ravens) feeding him meat and bread everyday until the ravine dried up and Elijah, at God's command, had to go and stay at a widow's house for awhile.
Another example, in Ezekiel 17:2-10, God sends Ezekiel to tell the people in exile from their native land a parable about 2 dinosaurs (eagles), one who traded a cedar branch in the market for some grape seeds he planted and grew into a vine. The plant eventually grew stronger, bear fruit, and spread in the direction of the other dinosaur that appeared before it. This parable represents the time when the people of Jerusalem will be carried off into captivity while leaving behind the poorest people in the land, who will eventually leave for Egypt in a false hope of finding prosperity over there. It did happened eventually. Nebuchadnezzar invaded and conquer Jerusalem in 586 BCE and took everyone captive except for the poorest of the people who eventually left for Egypt hoping for prosperity over there only to find themselves in the mist of the Babylonian army who conquered Egypt and vanquished its king.
Other examples include Leviticus 5:7, 12:5-9, 14:21-23, and 15:14 and 29, which God tells people to bring to the priests dinosaurs (Doves or Pigeons) as burnt offerings to the Lord if they cannot afford to have either an ox or a lamb be brought before Him, 1 Kings 10:22 and 2 Chronicles 9:21, which features King Solomon receiving trade shipment of gold, silver, ivory, apes, and dinosaurs (peacocks), and Job 39:14-18 where God mentions to Job figuratively about the absent-minded dinosaur (ostrich) that could care less about her eggs and young, while in reality, she actually does look after her eggs and young with utmost care.
Morris, on the other hand, would say yes also. But instead of birds, he brings up a myth about Behemoth and Leviathan being dinosaurs which I've debunked in 2 articles you can read about below.
Next, in Chapter 11, on pages 37-38, Morris tries to answer the question, Are There Dinosaurs Still Living Today? (Answer: Except birds, no.) while makes up claims of alleged sightings of modern dinosaurs, such as what is found in Scotland where the famous Loch Ness Monster Morris believes to be a Plesiosaur is said to be sighted at despite finding no plesiosaur fossils in that area, not to mention the fact that the Loch Ness Lake, home of “Nessie”, is much too cold for reptiles like Plesiosaurs to live in. Another alleged sightings include the alleged carcass of a plesiosaur fished up from the ocean by a Japanese fisherman's boat now ruled to be a basking shark, and alleged sightings of sauropod dinosaurs in the Congo basin in Africa and in South America, which is all make-believe. Otherwise we would have seen dead bodies of fully-intact dinosaurs, post-Mesozoic fossils, freshly made eggs, feces, and footprints, and valid photographs taken of the creature. But none are found. Morris claims that more research needs to be done in an effort to make definitive claims on dinosaurs living today. What research? There is none! Young earthers don't do research at all! Instead, they make up lies, distortions, and deceptions and call it all 'research' and parade them around as 'truth.' At least Morris got it right when he says that sightings of modern dinosaurs would not disprove evolution. What it will do, instead, is enhance it.
Then in Chapter 12, on pages 38-41, entitled Can Dinosaurs Be Cloned From Fossil DNA?, Morris deals with cloning and confirms to the fact that cloning dinosaurs from fossil DNA cannot be done.
Then, on pages 41- 42, in Chapter 13 entitled What Is The Main Message Of The Jurassic Park Movies? (Answer: In the words of Ian Malcolm: “Whenever man interferes with nature, chaos will occur..." ) Morris makes up more stupidity and claims that Jurassic Park is all about naturalism, which he claims to stand in contrast to supernaturalism, which is a blatant lie. Both naturalism and supernaturalism are religious perspectives and both will form the bases for scientific investigation and interpretation....or so Morris' claims. Naturalism is anything BUT a religious perspective and it does not have to leave God out of this when it comes to explaining natural events. Then Morris, on pages 42 tries to answer the question in the subtitle, What is the Main Message of The Lost World?, By claiming that evolution is the prominent theme for the movie including frank discussions of the weakness of the theory. He goes on to smear scientists at the Santa Fe Institute in Santa Fe, New Mexico whom he claims brag about a theory which solves the so-called same (yet non-existent) problem while claiming the same old claim of evolution violating the 2nd law of thermodynamics that has been debunked for the umpteenth time. He claims that evolution has not been observed hence the 2nd law have not been violated which is both a blatant lie.
On page 43, Morris gets with his own version of the complexity theory while noting about people abandoning Naturalism and take on The New Age movement, in which, according to Morris, is “Mother Nature” lives and produce complex life systems by design. Although, It does teach that spirituality and science are harmonious and that new discoveries in science, when rightly understood, point to spiritual principles, science and evolution, in reality, are entirely neutral when it comes to spirituality and God. Plus, many scientists are Christians as well as Islamic, Mormon, Buddha, and Hindu believers out there who find no problems in embracing both science and their spiritual beliefs. People must never buy into the Young Earth cult that do major amounts of damage to religious beliefs as well as destroy them once if people don't watch themselves and not buy into the false dilemma and follow the young earth teachings blindly.
Now we get to Chapter 14 where it is entitled, So What? What Does All This Mean To Me? (Answer: Nothing. Plain and simple.) where Morris gives out some evolutionary strawman by claiming that evolution don't allow dragon legends to relate to dinosaurs. That's because what Morris, assuming that since dinosaur remains are found worldwide along with dragon tales, then dragons in the stories must have been dinosaurs people saw, claimed about the stories are nothing but blatant lies as well as direct fabrications YECs like Morris made up by taking certain dragon tales out of context and twist them about to fit in with their views of what dinosaurs and dragons really are. Morris goes, “Creation (Morris' Idol) insists that all people alive today descended from Noah and his family and they saw dinosaurs!” Birds maybe, but Tyrannosaurus and Apatosaurus, never! Otherwise we will see bones of dinosaurs dated to the time Egyptians are building their pyramids during the alleged great global flood of Noah. But none has ever existed.
Morris then claims that the Bible have been accepted as the Word of God through the centuries. Even today, most Americans accept it as an accurate guide to meaningful life and has also has been analyzed, scrutinized, and tested, and found to be trustworthy – socially, psychologically, and historically....... as well as misused, abused, used as a cop out as well as justifications for all sorts of atrocities, to oppress, impose dangerous teaching like young earthism, to subjugate, torture, and kill, to tear apart, destroy and damage the lives of people worldwide, and much, much more. Morris, lying to the last claims that dinosaurs fossils themselves give no evidence or support of evolution, which is a blatant lie. He also claims that they were all created creatures that were wiped out during Noah's Flood with great intensity just as described in the Bible, while Fossil record has proven time and time again to be not at all the case.
Is There a Lost World? so says the subtitle on page 44. Sorry, Morris. There was too a lost world of dangerous, dueling dinosaurs. The notion of “lost world of primeval forested swamps cooking up a soup of single-celled prototypes of later species”, however, is nothing but blatant strawman Morris made up from his head taken from old, outdated science literature books from many decades ago. There is not just a lost world of the dinosaurs, but a lost world of humans that do not know and/or choose not to know Jesus in their lives. And there will be more of such people out there if YECs like Morris keeps up with peaching YE tripe to their unsuspecting people of the Christian Faith. In this final chapter, Morris begins to use dinosaurs to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ, but he's doing it the wrong way. Young earth creationism destroys Christianity! Morris' preaching about Christ, using dinosaurs as a pawn for his evil is a lot like shutting and locking the Gates of Heaven in front of the faces of their hapless victims since Morris constantly asserts that this is all true and yet the scientific evidence tells us exactly the opposite. Morris is making a liar out of God when he says it's all true in God's Word and yet fossil record reveals to us openly that it is not so. Once the hapless victim find the hurtful truth behind young earthism and how they are making Christianity into one big lie, then he/she will say, “&^$# off and die!”, say goodbye to Christianity, and hello to Atheism. And that is what the Profaned Gospel is exactly all about.
Conclusion
All throughout this booklet, it is evident that Morris, just like his father who founded the so-called modern creationism movement, have either little or no knowledge at all of dinosaurs, evolution, chaos and complexity theories, and all other forms of science. So, why are some people calling them “experts” while they don't know a doggone thing about what I've mentioned above? It's mind boggling isn't it? To see these men at it with their stupid lies they paraded in books and booklets, such as this one I've debunked, deluding the public who have little knowledge about science and dinosaurs themselves into thinking they should rely on them for everything, while being unwittingly led into a spider's web of blind faith, deceptions, and lies that will cause them to lose their faith in God once the truth behind YECism is known, has got to be one of the worst sins ever committed in the history of mankind. This book is not recommended for everyone, especially those who want to get into dinosaurs and into the Christian Faith as well.
