Deism
From EvoWiki
Deism is a religious philosophy that states that the existence of god(s) is confirmed through reason and personal experience rather than scripture ,revelation or the words of prophets and or religious authorities as in many organized religions such as Christianity and Islam which deists have criticized at various times in history and in the present. Deism gained a large following during the 17th and 18th centuries in Great Britain, France, and the United States primarily among intellectuals (such as scientists and philosophers). Deism continues to exist in the present as Modern Deism, Classical Deism and Spiritual Deism.
