Babies in the Ark

The M rhyme on pages 96 and 34 claims Noah took up small dinosaurs into the ark that are in many cases juveniles, which he wasn't supposed to do. Noah was commanded to take up with him 2 of every fully mature animals only, not immature, inexperienced babies. In this faulty "lesson" on page 96, Ham claims that the dinosaurs being reptiles would continue to grow all their lives and like reptiles, dinosaurs hatched from eggs. He claims it must have taken hundreds of years from them to grow to enormous sizes. That’s not what the scientific evidence says. Scientists have learned from studying sauropod, hadrosaur and other fossils that dinosaurs grew very fast. For example, on average, sauropods can grow from hatchling to adult within a matter of 10 to 15 years. Others dinosaurs took less to grow to adult size; in some cases within a matter of months. Ham then claims Noah took only young and small dinosaurs on board. He took only birds aboard actually. He never did took up all the non-avian dinosaurs aboard. By the time the hominids, Adam, Noah and all other humans appeared, the non-avian dinosaurs were long extinct for over 60 million years. Ham then states that no more than 70,000 individual animals could fit in the ark and much more. Even with 70,000, there’s no way can 8 people take care of all these animals without the proper care and maintenance. You have to have much more than just 8 people to take care of these animals. Even with an ark about 458 x 75 x 45, there is no way can all those 70,000 animals could ever fit in such an ark. You have to have more than one ark to fit all those animals in as well as more people to care for them than just one ark and eight people.


Ignorance of Animal Classification

Ham’s ignorance over his lack of knowledge over animal classification is paraded in the next faulty "exercise." Children are to go to the library and look up books about many different kinds of animals. Parents are to lie to children; telling them to be ignorant of the scientific term of animal classification. They are to tell them that although there are many different types of animals like the dog for instance, they are still those animals. For example, there are many different types of dogs, Ham claims, but they are still dogs. So are they also the Genius Canis; so are they also the Family Canidae; so are they also the Order, Carnivora; so are they the Class Mammalia; And finally, so are they the Phylum Chordata. The Phylum Clordata are also what wolf and fox is also a part of as well as the class Mammalia and Order Carnivora and the Family Canidae. However, the difference is that the fox is the Genius, Vulpes and the species for dog is Familiaris, the wolf is Lupes, and the fox is also the same as the Genius as well, which is vulpes. Scientists used these methods of animal classification to help them to identify animals better. Something Ham wants you to ignore. But ignoring them is not going to make them go away, however.

Fossil Folly

The N rhyme on pages 98 and 36 claims the fossils of dinosaurs were formed as the result of Noah’s flood when the dinosaurs outside the ark drowned. No evidence! In the next faulty "lesson," parents are to lie to the kids, telling that we find plants and animals buried in mud all over the earth, which is a made up myth I’ve described awhile back. Not all fossils were buried in mud. Some were buried in sand, volcanic ash, even tar when it comes to fossils of mammals like Mastodon and Smilodon for instance. Then parents are to share with the kids that most fossils would probably have been formed because of the effect of the worldwide flood, which is a myth too. Next Parents are to tell the children that if you can add up all the dates in the Bible, the flood would have occurred (get this!) 4 and a half thousands years ago. Which means that most of the fossils, including dinosaur fossils, would be more than about 4,500 years of age. That’s excrement to the 3rd degree! 4,500 years ago was at the time the Egyptians were building the pyramids! Especially the Step Pyramid that was built for King Djoeser of the 3rd Egyptian dynasty! No doubt there’s no account of them being forced to call it quits when they see a wall of water coming their way found in the ancient Egyptian records. No way can the fossils of dinosaurs be that old! Accurate dating methods clearly tells us that dinosaurs are truly millions of years old and the fossils were all formed in certain conditions that have zero to do with Noah’s flood.

In the next faulty "lesson," children are to get a jar or a glass bottle, filled it with dirt half way, and water half way, shake it all up with the cap on and let it set for awhile. Ham wants to give an example of how does sediment form as a result of Noah’s flood. Guess what! Really do that and I think all that will result in mud, not sediment. Then they are to make a diagram of the Grand Canyon and put the mythical caption, “Lots of water and lots of mud, Formed (sic) these layers during Noah’s Flood, which never occurred.” (emphases in bold.) Keep in mind there is NO evidence of sedimentary rock layers being formed by all mud, regardless of what Ham wants you to believe. He tells parents to tell the children that this is what you expect to see in the jar; lots of layers after mixing it up, if the flood of Noah’s day is mixed with lots of mud. None has ever been found and/or occurred! The layers are actually all arranged to be neat and in order as seen in the actual fossil record. So why should we believe in Ham’s stupid lies?

Fate Of Those Who Left the Ark

The O rhyme implies the animals and the dinosaurs all got out of the ark after the flood is over. Note on pages 100 and 38 on how the word “Stegasaurs” is misspelled with an ‘a’ instead of an ‘o.’ The next faulty lesson shows Ham claiming that if dinosaurs went into the ark, then they must have come out of the ark after the flood, if they were all birds of coarse. But knowing him, he just would rather have the Mesozoic dinosaurs and the extinct animals alongside of Noah and all of the modern animals in the ark. Eventually they will leave the ark to face a very hostile world. Despite what Ham wants parents to tell their kids, all animal life will not stand a chance because all of the plants was destroyed in the flood. Coral and fish would not survived either. There are parasites and bacteria that spread diseases around and infect the animals no matter how healthy they appeared to be and humans too; getting them all sick and eventually die. Insects won’t survive either (Not even on those so-called vegetable mats YECs like Ham dredged up to help explain how did the insects survive the flood, if they ever survive at all.); soil would all be washed away to the point where no plants would grow; animals that eat meat would killed off all of the plant eaters and die of starvation themselves; and other major problems with the whole silly flood story the YECs dredged up from their heads based on their bible interpretations they entirely made up themselves. Here on this web page as well as this page, you can see a whole list of essays being made on the problems that the flood model would make if ever was such thing did took place allegedly about 4,500 years ago. In the next exercise, which is not necessary a bad exercise when used as a non YEC project, the children are to just pretend to be Noah and make a diary of his voyage on the ark.

Dinosaur Names

Now the P rhyme on pages 102 and 40 is all about pronouncing dinosaur’s names. The lesson is not that very bad at all if the Dinosaurs those Terrible Lizards book gets rejected and replaced with a much better dinosaur like Extreme Dinosaurs by Luis V. Ray for instance. All that it does is to teach kids how to pronounce dinosaur names. It can be done however with a normal dinosaur book than fake dinosaur books YECs dredged up to help spread their filthy lies. All you have to do is go to a library or to a bookstore and get a dinosaur book, a real one, and have your child look at the dinosaur images and learn how to pronounce their names, which it’s easy and fun. On average, most children can pronounce dinosaur names better than adults can. And you know how children are very smart at that. Also on average, toddlers can easily identify a Tyrannosaurus and a Diplodocus long before they are able to identify a tiger or an elephant. Only a tad few children show little or no interest in dinosaurs. But that’s okay. I would rather be among the mass majority who do show a much greater interest in dinosaurs without getting marred by satanic YE crap charlatans like Ham keeps dishing out from time to time.

Dinosaur Extinction

The Q rhyme on pages 104 and 42 deals with the popular question of why did the dinosaurs become extinct. Multiple theories have been put to explain the causes of the dinosaurs’ demise including the increase in cold temperatures to spreading diseases. But to Ham, it’s the flood’s aftermath that has caused the extinction whether it involves man killing them or dying of the cold. No evidence of it has ever occurred. Ham, in the next faulty lesson, still brings on that comical myth about at least 50 different kinds of dinosaurs were around (Where the heck did he ever get such a imbecilic idea from anyway? Answer: it's a just-so story made up as an attempt to fit all of the dinosaurs into the ark.) as well as bring on that myth about dinosaurs coming out of the ark and living on the earth thousands of years ago. But if God wanted the dinosaurs to be salvaged, be fruitful and multiply, then why are they extinct? If man did lived with dinosaurs then why are their remains NOT found alongside of each other? And why are the remains of dinosaurs found only within the Mesozoic strata and nowhere else? If God want them to be salvaged and yet they die off eventually after the flood, then what's the point of ever salvaging them anyway? These are the questions Ham and the other YECs can never honestly answer so they make up lies as they go and pretend that after the flood dinosaurs began to be fruitful and multiply and laid eggs and produce more dinosaurs only to get killed off by man and other extremes as told within the R rhyme I’ll get to now.

Flintstone Fairy Tale

The R in the rhyme, on pages 106 and 44, is for reasons, which the YECs have really none at all, giving out on what caused their extinction as told here in these faulty "lessons" on page 106. There are very major problems to this YEC myth as discussed in this article about the YECs' mumbo jumbo at the Dinosaur National Monument in No Answers in Genesis website here. In the next faulty "lesson," Children are to be told that there was probably an Ice Age that’s alluded to Job 38:29. But this is another example of how YECs twist bible verses around to fit in with their own views. That verse has zero to do with the Ice Age. In fact, there are actually multiple instances of Ice Ages that occurred at certain times throughout history. Even during the Paleozoic era for instance. In the next faulty "exercise," children are to pretend they owned a restaurant while dinosaurs are still alive that and make up a menu that serves only Bedrock style food that you will only see in The Flintstones cartoon show, like Brontoburgers and Pterodactyl legs for instance. Nice if your doing this for playing Flintstones though. Otherwise this "lesson" will do your children more harm than good in teaching lessons that are not entirely truthful at all.

Behemoth Lie

Now the S rhyme is Stupid. The S rhyme on pages 108 and 46 is all about the behemoth myth. Ham, just like all YECs, states that Behemoth of Job 40:15-24 is a dinosaur and demands it to be so. However, there is a major flaw to this YE claim. See The Truth About Behemoth for details. In this faulty "lesson," Ham wrongfully identified the Hebrew word for Behemoth as being “great quadruped” while in fact it actually means “beast” or “dumb beast.” Traditionally, Behemoth have long been identified as a hippopotamus. Actually, if you want to get technical, the word “behemoth” is most likely refers to wild animals or livestock or just the whole animal kingdom just like this page says. Note: scroll down to Day 6 section and click on the behemah 23 hyperlink to see what I’m talking about.

In this faulty "exercise," Children are to be told that if some dinosaurs grow large, they along side of humans would have lived to be hundreds of years old as told in Genesis 5 and other verses. What the children are not told is that those verses may be based on the sexagesimal system of the base 60 which the Sumerians invented a long time ago. Despite what is claimed this faulty "exercise," no one knows for sure how long dinosaurs lived. According to scientific studies involving bone growth rings, dinosaurs like Seismosaurus can lived to be roughly 100-200 years old. T.rex, according to recent scientific study, can lived to be 30 years old on average. And smaller dinosaurs tend to live much shorter.

Children are told to go to the library and look up which animal is the largest ever known to have lived on the earth which of course is the Blue whale. Yet the life span of the blue whale is about 30 years. Ham assumes that God must have put special characteristics inside dinosaurs’ genes to help them lived longer. Try finding it within the growth rings of the bone. Like I said, scientists can determined the life span of a dinosaur just by looking at their growth rings in a bone just like you look into tree rings to determine its life span. Parents are to understand with the children that there are lots that we don’t know about dinosaurs and we have to be very tentative on what we say about them. After all, we were not there to see them living. Neither were the ancients there to see them alive either.

Dragon Tales

This is the most stupidest, most sorriest claim the YECs like Ham ever pulled and hilarious too. This is the myth the YECs demands for it to be real, but it has no truth, foundation, merit, and evidence to boot. This is the T rhyme on pages 110 and 48 that made claims of dragon tales to be accounts of people encountering dinosaurs. But just like I said in my previous essays, all of those dragon myths YECs claim to be dinosaurs people saw are really nothing more than twisted fabricated stories made up by the YECs to fit in with their beliefs about dinosaurs living along side of man.

Beowulf

Not necessary a dragon tale, but is worth noting for example is The Epic poem dated back to 1000 AD/CE that tells about Beowulf and during his early years of his life, he had faced off against an ogre named Grendel who hated parties and would crashed them devouring party goers as he went. Beowulf fought and killed the ogre by tearing off his arm and allowed him to bleed to death. Then Beowulf went to fight with Grendel's mother and killed her too, after she killed another person she believed to be the one responsible for her son's death, in a cave where the ogre and his mother who was another ogre lived in.

YECs such as Bill Cooper witlessly twisted to story around to make it look as if Beowulf must have killed a dinosaur such as Tyrannosaurus Rex by pulling off its arm and allow it to bleed to death instead of an ogre. YECs, witless as ever, thinks T.rex arm is so weak that if you pull off its arm, it will bleed to death. Hovind is the one of the YECs who advocate such a idiotic claim not knowing of how strong, muscular, and powerful T.rex's arms really were. They are about the same length of a man's arm and may have been used to either get himself off the ground after a long rest or may have used them to hold on to his prey while he crushes them with his sharp tooth jaws. No one knows for sure. But you can bet one thing, no one has and can ever pull an arm off of a T.rex no matter how hard he/she tries and/or how strong the person was/is. For T.rex have been long extinct for 65 million years, long before there were any humans around.

Then, during the later years of his life, Beowulf fought, killed a dragon, and died shortly afterwards. The dragon had terrorized the land after a servant stole his favorite gold cup and arousing its wrath. This dragon was never described as a dinosaur; It was actually a fire drake with a body that coils like a snake. Something dinosaurs totally lack of having. Dragons are not dinosaurs. However during ancient times, people, from time to time, have come across fossilized remains of dinosaurs and other extinct animals and thought of them as dragons, giants, and other monsters. One time, ancient explorers came across a cave were they found skulls of prehistoric mammoths and thought they were the skulls of one eyed giants they regarded as Cyclops. Thus, the legend of the giant one-eyed cyclops came to be known. Another example is the encounter of fossil remains of Protoceratops the ancients thought they were bony remains of Griffins, monsters that were half lion, half eagle what is said to have guarded vast treasures of gold for the gods.


The Truth About Dragons and How YECs Handle Them

Today, people no longer believe that the fossils were of monsters of myth and legend after they have figured out of what these strange fossilized bones really were. All dragon tales are nothing more than just-so, made-up, fairy tale myths. Yet, children are to believe the dragon stories are “true” accounts according to the great dragon lie Ham and other YECs tell by 'learning' this faulty "lesson," where they are to be shown examples of what the YECs claim by being told that there are many legends around the world told of dragons that used to live on earth that people fought and killed as told in The Great Dinosaur Mystery and the Bible book. Parents are to ask them to give them descriptions of what dragons are like and are told that many descriptions could fit dinosaurs, which they couldn't. Dinosaurs, in no way, resemble dragons because they do not have bodies that resembled snakes. Now that’s truly the real difference between a dragon and a dinosaur. Dragons are known to have bodies that resembled snakes and dinosaurs in most cases have bodies that resembles birds in one form or another. What Ham does not tell us is that the word “dragon” comes from the Greek word “drakon” meaning snake or serpent. Dragons have been known to resembled snakes in one form or another, just as depicted in ancient dragon art like in ancient Chinese for instance and in no way do they resembled dinosaurs. Ham claims people may have these embellished stories over the years. The problem is that these so called embellished stories are nothing more than fabricated stores that YECs dredged up form their heads by twisting the stories around to fit their own views of them. No way are they the evidence of people meeting up with dinosaurs because not only are they fabricated by the YECs, but they all 100% fail miserably to explain how come there are no dinosaur remains found mixed with human remains.

Bearing False Witness

In the next faulty "exercise," Parents are to write a 20-word message about a sighting of a big animal. Whisper a message to one kid who then has to whisper it to the next kid and so on. This is to give an example of how in the past people have been spreading stories around through word of mouth. Sounds like Ham is teaching the kids how to bear false witness and gossip, which is very wrong for us to do as Christians. Despite what Ham claims, dragon stories are no way true stories of people meeting up with dinosaurs with “some elements of the original stories containing many differences.” They are nothing but direct fabrications YECs made up to deceive the gullible. Parents are to write out a different message and have everyone read it one at a time. This teaches children to be ignorant of Bible history and say that all of the stories told in the Bible are exactly what it has been told since the beginning, which ignores other ancient bible texts that tell bible stories different, like The Book of Jubilees and The Book of Enoch for instance. Ham and other YECs knowing nothing about true Bible history; makes up a myth that says Adam was the first to write down parts of Genesis and Shem writes the other parts of Genesis and Moses uses them to compile the whole book. In reality, no one knows for sure who wrote Genesis let alone who wrote the Bible. Many suggestions have been made to explain who wrote the Genesis book, but traditionally it is said that only Moses wrote Genesis with God guiding him along the way. Other theories included many scribes from many parts of Palestine, whom over the years, wrote all the parts of Genesis as described [http://www.religioustolerance.org/jepd_gen.htm here and the Jewish scribes who, in Babylonian captivity, heard of the myths about origins and the flood as told by the Babylonians and realized these myths could lead their people astray and worship other gods that the Babylonians worshiped. So, they made their own version of the creation and the flood stories based on those Babylonian myths. These are much better explanations than what YECs have purposed. There is no evidence for what YECs claim about the origins of the Book of Genesis.

Dictating the Bible

Ham claims that God supernaturally watches over the people who copied the manuscripts as told in II Timothy 3:16, the verse often invoked by religious cult leaders, especially YECs to justify their man made doctrines enforced as if they were established by God. And II Peter 1:21 also invoked to justify man-made Pharisee-like teachings as well. Ham wants people to believe that the possibility of error is greatly reduced compared to the problems in things handed down orally when something is handed down in written form. He neglects to mentioned that even writings can be distorted and have a great possibly of error just as much as oral tellings have. Ham says that even the children probably made some mistakes even when copying, because they are fallible (words in all capital letters.), But Ham wants everyone to believe in the assumption priori that says the Bible is all perfect supernaturally preserved by the so-called infallible creator God. Ham really wants parents to teach children to be ignorant of Bible history and the fact that the writers of the Bible were nothing more than normal fallible mortal men, not supernaturals. Ham knows nothing of the Bible, it’s knowledge, it’s legacy, and how the Bible really did came about. He just lies, makes up here and there, elevated all to deity form along with his own faulty Bible interpretations, and tell it like it is. He, like all YECs, is as just as bad as the Bible code advocates who use the Bible to tell fortunes. According to supporters of the fallible Bible, there are a lot of contradictions, atrocities, missing texts, and questionable content found within it's pages. The Bible was not written in one day by perfect people. Instead, it was written separately; over many periods of time by various scribes. Each author sees things differently and have many differences of opinions over what he wrote. Yet, these men have been inspired by God to write down the sacred text that has been revised, translated into many different languages, and made to be understood better for over many centuries.

Example of Jeremiah

Although there are a few times when God did actively inspired the men to write the text, God usually would let the men write down the sacred text freely and passively like Jeremiah for instance. With the help of Baruch, Jeremiah would write down his feelings about what is happening at the time when his people of Jerusalem were rebelling against God and the Babylonians were laying siege on the city. No matter how many times Jeremiah tried to tell the people about the coming threat from the Babylonians and how they must repent of their sins for them to be saved from their fate at the hands of the Babylonians, the people will not listen. Jeramiah's pleading all fell on deaf ears; save a tad few who did listen, but was suppressed by those who refused to listen. They even tried to kill him because he was speaking out against the temple and the holy city. But God has a good reason to even destroy the temple. The people are sinning against God by worshiping idols, spreading corruption, immorality, and desecrating the Temple. God allow the Babylonians to lay siege and eventually conquer Jerusalem as a result. Jeremiah was in tears a lot when he sees the horrors that are within and without the city, which lead him to write Lamentations, a book that expresses all about Jeremiah’s feelings over what have happened after the city has fallen. But, that’s another subject. This is an example on how the authors, in many cases, wrote the Bible freely and passively and God lets them get away with it. He most likely allowed the scribes to do this so that he can get people to know that the characters in the Bible like David, Moses, and Elijah were all just like you and me, fallible, mistakable, and imperfect, yet, they were able to achieve righteousness in God's sight and loyally do a great service to Him.


Despite being the most beloved, best cherished version of all Bible versions, the King James Version Bible has loads of errors and mistranslations. But the teachings and the advocates of the KJV-only cult don’t want you to know of this. Ham and most if not all YECs are apparently followers of the KJV-only cult who threaten people with Damnation, Hell, Fire, and Brimstone if they don’t read and acknowledged the KJV bible to be the 100% accurate translation of all translations. Like YECism, like KJVism. Unsound, unbiblical, and unaccounted for.
