Creation Science Hour

Creation Science Hour is a Creationist radio programme hosted by Kent Hovind and Jonathan Sampson and was broadcasted on the internet, between 5 and 6 pm Central time (UTC-6), until Kent Hovind's arrest for Tax Evasion.

• Humans only use 10% of their brains [1] - Hovind didn't explicitly say this, but referred to it positively
• The Bible says it, I believe it, that settles it

• The tail bone is not vestigial since there are nine muscles that attach to it
• Gap creationism is not true and is dangerous
• Noah's Flood happened in 2,400 BC
• Fairness demands evolution and creation be given equal time
• Non-creationist Christians are compromisers

• 2nd law of thermodynamics prohibits evolution (Jonathan uses the example of an in-car videocassette cupboard as an example of increasing disorder, as if in-car videos were biological life)

  • Hovind is very skeptical of Nostradamus, but the same arguments he uses can be applied to the Bible.

• Without a literal Fall, there is no need for Jesus and redemption
