CMI, Creation Ministries International [1], recently split from AIG (Answers in Genesis), is a group of autonomous ministries in several countries, primarily Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and Canada. It has a long history [2] starting in 1977 as the first creationist organisation in Australia, the Creation Science Association (CSA) of Adelaide, South Australia. In 1980 it took on the name, Creation Science Foundation Ltd (CSF). In 1996, the Australian CSF ministry gave assistance to Ken Ham to form a ministry that was called Creation Science Ministries since U.S. law prevented the use of 'Foundation' if it wasn't really a foundation. Eventually the ministries were renamed Answers in Genesis. Recently (Mar2006) AIG split [3] and the non-U.S. part assumed the CMI name.

CMI publishes the hardcopy magazine Creation and The Journal of Creation (formerly TJ and previously Creation Ex Nihilo Technical Journal). Some selected articles may be online at the website. A substantial body of their views/claims is also available online.
