Columbiformes
From EvoWiki
Columbiformes, (Aves: Neornithes)
Pigeons, doves and allies. This order is primarily composed of precocious fliers, although it has multiple times produced secondarily flightless lineages, of which the most famous is the Mascarene Dodo, Raphus cucullatus. The origin of Columbiformes is debated although the available morphological and molecular evidence suggests the psittaciform affinity of these birds.
