Carl Correns

Carl Correns (1864-1933) was a German botanist and director of the Wilhelm-Institut f�r Biologie in Berlin. Along with Hugo De Vries and Erich Tschermak, Correns independently rediscovered the work of Gregor Mendel, and published his findings in the spring of 1900.
