Brachiosaurus ("Arm-lizard") is an extinct genus of massive sauropod dinosaurs from the jurassic period. Remains have been found in North America, and in Africa, suggesting that these gargantuan sauropods ranged throughout Gondwana during the Jurassic (which had what is now North America attached to western Africa). Brachiosaurus had a long neck and forelimbs and was adapted as a herbivore with a similar strategy as modern giraffes (but about three times as tall).

Type species: Brachiosaurus altihorax (Riggs, 1903a).
