Responses
- This is rather vague, since the word kind has always been poorly defined by creationists. If one denies speciation, then every modern species alive today must have been represented, which easily puts the number of different species on the order of millions.
- What about parasites and diseases? They had to be carried as well--most won't survive in salty water or outside their hosts. How about diseases that have a life cycle less than 40 days? There are often hundreds of different parasites and diseases that affect each different species, many of them causing fatal sickness, some within days. Was every animal and person crawling with these creatures, somehow managing to survive the combined effect of being infected with them all at once? Which member of the crew volunteered to be infected with malaria or loa loa?

Fallacies contained in this claim
- Just So Story ("Kinds" of animals used solely to make Noah's job easier)
- Equivocation (What does "Kind of animal" mean?)
- Affirming the Consequent (because the animals could have fit on the ark does not mean they did)
